Romford Brewery – Tug of War Team

We’ve had a request for photos of the Romford Brewery Tug of War Team from Martin Tarbard who is part of a project that is creating a pictorial historical archive of the sport of Tug of War……

The Romford Brewery Team was a founding member of the English Tug of War Association in 1958 and Matt Herring who was part of that team was a major force behind its formation.
Do you have any images of the team? If so would  it be possible for you to provide us with digital copies of any photos you may have for this or any other tug of war teams, it would be greatly appreciated.

We would willingly give you an accreditation for any materials provided.
