Summer at Havering Museum

Havering Museum has played host to Romans, Egyptians, Tudors and teddy bears over the last few weeks!

At our Classic Ancients afternoon, our young visitors had the opportunity to explore the world of the Ancient Romans and Egyptians, discovering their fascinating art and crafts techniques.

Tremendous Tudors saw our young visitors bringing the Museum’s Tudor Roses back to life, getting to know famous Tudors through their portraits, and finding out about their links with Havering.

The Teddy Bears’ Picnic taught our youngest visitors the skills of a Museum Curator and how to display their bears like a Museum Exhibition, whilst also becoming teddy bears themselves through creating teddy bear masks.
