Titanic Launched!

Havering Museum was packed on Saturday 7th April when Madam Mayor Linda Van Hende declared the Titanic Honour and Glory Exhibition officially open. The Mayor was supported by Bill Sheehan, from Elm Park, whose relative Jeremiah Burke perished when the ill-fated liner sank on 15th April, 1912.

After the launch ceremony, visitors flooded into the Museum to view the many artefacts from the Titanic and sister ship, Olympic…and the passengers and crew. There’s also props from the 1997 blockbuster movie, Titanic, starring Leonardo di Caprio, Billy Zane and Kate Winslet.

The Exhibition is supported by talks and a Family Day. See the website for more information and how to book…or call: 01708 766571.

The Titanic: Honour & Glory Exhibition runs until Saturday, 1st September, 2018 and admission is £3.00
