A HISTORIC DAY FOR THE MUSEUM

Havering Museum has been awarded Full Accredited Status by the Arts Council of England.

This Award means the Museum has reached a very high standard of professionalism in all areas. This includes the strength and support of volunteers, closer links with visitors, maintaining and improving the Collections, Exhibitions, Events, Over-50s Clubs and our strong association with local businesses.

Being an Accredited Museum will also strengthen any future bids for Arts Council funding.

A momentous and historic day for Havering Museum and one that will boost the Board of Director’s determination to continue to move forward.
