Mullis & Peake LLP Solicitors
Supporting our Schools Education
programme Events for Older people
(Reminiscence) and Titanic: Honour & Glory
Mullis & Peake are aware that many local schools cannot afford to bring their classes to the Museum, which limits the opportunity for children to learn about their local heritage and decided to fund 10 free school visits. In addition they appreciate to importance of community groups like the Museum’s Friday afternoon Reminiscence group and have decided to also support our work with the older people of Havering.
Jo Briton – Marketing Manager at Mullis & Peake LLP Solicitors:
“Mullis & Peake LLP is delighted to support Havering Museum and all the valuable work they do in the local community. Our contribution will help local schools with free visits to the Museum and the Reminiscence group, which is a lifeline for older people. We are looking forward to holding some events in the interesting venue provided by the Museum.”
Clemence Hoar Cummings Ltd, Chartered Accountants
Supporting Variety Club and Titanic: Honour & Glory Exhibition
Sponsorship of Havering Museum’s Variety Club for the over 50s.
The support of Clemence Hoar Cummings has enabled the Museum to continue to offer the Variety Club to our older people for free for a three year period. This group helps to combat social isolation and enables people to learn new skills, have fun and make friends in a creative environment. This group has helped to change the lives of many older people.
David Belbin, Managing Partner comments on the sponsorship.
“Ultimately accountancy is about people and their businesses and looking after clients in a holistic way, from start up to retirement and inheritance tax planning. Every client is unique and so we tailor our services to meet their needs. So, rather than support a specific exhibition, we wanted to support a people based activity. Supporting those who may otherwise feel isolated seemed very worthwhile. It was a pleasure to spend time with the Thursday Variety Club members and I was made to feel very welcome.”

Perfect Layout Digital Marketing
Supporting two 2019 Open Days
Perfect Layout Digital Marketing became sponsors of the Museum in 2018. Christine Huntingford, web designer said:
“We chose to sponsor Havering Museum because we believe in the need to preserve the right to have access to this valuable educational resource that’s based locally. It’s important that people of all ages are able to visit historical exhibitions that relate to where they live now, as well as getting an insight into events that took place elsewhere.
First and foremost, we hope that our sponsorship will allow the museum to continue doing the great work that they do. It’s vital that our past is remembered, to understand how life used to be, as it can help us appreciate what we have now. We hope that having a link with the museum will allow a different audience to view the merits of our business and help spread the word about the friendly, local team at Perfect Layout.
