We have a core team of over 50 dedicated volunteers who work across a variety of areas including, Collections, Education, Events, Front of House and Administration.

Our present volunteer opportunities include placements with one of our Front of House Teams, or assisting in the delivery of Events & School Sessions. We can also provide placements for those interested in providing administrative and marketing support.

The Museum is committed to developing its volunteers. All volunteers receive full training and are allocated to a mentor.

A placement with the Havering Museum allows local people to become part of a friendly volunteer community. It also provides the opportunity for individuals to develop their CV, learn a new skill, or simply explore Havering’s past.

If you would like to be considered for a role in these areas, please complete and return our Volunteer Application Form Below.

Please note that we are unable to process applications from 3rd parties or agencies, all applications must be completed by the potential volunteer using the form below.
