World War 1 Memory Wall at Havering Museum

Are you a Havering Resident? Did your ancestor fight in the First World War?

As part of the plans to mark this years centenary of the start of the First World War, Havering Museum is seeking your memories and photographs of relatives who fought, in order to record their contribution. These memories and photographs will be put together to create a “Memory Wall” in our exhibition, launching this August at both Havering Museum and the Local Studies Centre at the Central Library Romford.

If you would like to contribute please complete the template from Havering Museum. Then email to exhibitions@haveringmuseum.org.uk or post it to 19-21 High Street, Romford, Essex, RM1 1JU. You can also pop in and deliver it by hand or speak to our friendly Front of House Team between Wednesdays and Saturdays 10am – 4pm who will be happy to help you record your memories.
