RAF Hornchurch: World War Two is a digital exhibition marking the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Second World War, with a focus on RAF Hornchurch which played a pivotal role in the defence of Britain.

To Vera, From Papa: the Tolhurst Envelopes takes a look at the artwork of Frederick Charles Tolhurst and the envelopes he illustrated for his daughter and other relations  in Hornchurch in the early 1900s. This is the first time the majority of the envelopes have come together for a public display in their home borough.

Enjoy an afternoon playing old fashioned games with the family.

No booking required just drop in anytime between 11:00 – 15:00.

Normal admission price for adults – children free.

Dennis Lynch shares the fascinating story of Hornchurch airfield from 1915 through to the present day. It will focus on the Battle of Britain and some of the heroes of WW2.

Tickets £5 each.
