Calling all festival queens and kings. Come along and get creative at our Dandelion Crown session this summer, where you will be crafting a knitted dandelion crown that you can take home and use again and again.. it’s a busy time for festival fun !
Please bring your own refreshments to the session. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Eastside Community Heritage Summer School Programme KS2 Session 2: Storytelling Workshop

Focusing on Olympic sporting heroes, past and present – London 2012 and Paris 2024, there will be lots of fun activities and a chance to create your own sporting stories. Create a new Olympic game or story and take on the role of an athlete, journalist, sports coach or event organiser all whilst producing a video to tell your own story.
There are still a few places left for this Friday 9 August 10.30am – 12:00pm session.Please bring your own refreshments to the session. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
In light of recent news events, we would also like to reassure you of our security procedures during the summer holiday period. The entrance door to the museum will be secure and manned at all times during opening hours
