A question for the film buffs …… Full Metal Jacket

I’ve just had this question sent into our email account, does anyone know the answer?

 Around 1985-86 part of the film ‘Full Metal Jacket’ was filmed in Upminster. The scene in question depicted the discovery of a ‘mass grave’. I am guessing it was most likely filmed in one of the local gravel pits. Can you pinpoint where exactly this was filmed and what the location is like today?

I’m not sure where the information about it being filmed in Upminster came from or if it was filmed there but any information about the film will be passed on.

    Yes, it was a sand and gravel pit owned by RMC, and called Bush Farm. It’s now a paintball centre.
