A year of Havering Hedgehogs

Similar to Havering Museum celebrating its 1st anniversary back in June, our Havering Hedgehogs children’s club also became 1 this week!

The Hedgehogs, who meet on Saturdays, have spent the past year learning about the history of Havering as well as different art and crafts techniques. On Saturday 16 July 2011 they celebrated their final session of the 2010 to 2011 period. The Havering Hedgehogs will now go into hibernation until Saturday 17 September when they will begin again, with the first session based on Holidays.

During their party last Saturday the children made a collage Hedgehog using their hand-prints, and celebrated in replica Victorian clothing with a Tea Party consisting of orange squash and chocolate cake.
