Advent Day 12 – Martin Brazier silver cigarette box, 8th June 1959
In the run up to Christmas we’ll show some of the objects added to the Museum’s collection in the last 12 months. These objects will be on display at the Museum until we close for Christmas on 16th December.
Martin Brazier, the donor’s grandfather, was presented with this silver cigar box by the Romford Football Club. He was their secretary and director for thirty years, and although he gave up the post not long after he received the box in 1959, he took over as chairman of the Ground and Buildings Committee instead.
