In the run up to Christmas we’ll show some of the objects added to the Museum’s collection in the last 12 months. These objects will be on display at the Museum until we close for Christmas on 16th December.

  This licence was issued between 1937 and 1965 by Romford Borough Council. What it licensed is unknown, but most likely it was for a market stall or possibly taxi. It may have been worn by the holder themselves or alternatively displayed upon or wherever was subject to the licence.
