HAVERING MUSEUM REMEMBERS THEM!       sponsored by

On Saturday 10th November, Havering Museum will be open free of charge to visitors. Sponsored by local accountants Kingston Smith, this is to commemorate the ending of the First World War.

There will be Great War displays in the Galleries and a WW1 themed model railway working in the Museum’s Reception area.

There is also a free talk at 1.00pm on the history of the Royal Flying Corps pilots at Suttons Farm and the famous Hare Hall war-time poets. Booking for this talk is essential as there is limited availability.

Although entry to the Museum and the talk is free, all donations will be welcome and will go to the Royal British Legion.

The Museum will be open from 11.00am – 4.30pm.
