9. The Official 2012 Diamond Jubilee Emblem, design by 10-year-old Katherine Dewar from Chester. This is the first time that the official Jubilee Emblem has not been designed by a professional artist – instead a national competition was held through the children’s television programme Blue Peter, for which children aged 6-14 were invited to submit their designs.
