Titanic Launches Today

The long-awaited Titanic Honour and Glory Exhibition has finally docked at Havering Museum in the High Street, Romford!

From Saturday 7th April at 12.00 noon until Saturday 1st September 2018, visitors to the Museum can discover and experience the incredible and tragic story of the world’s most famous liner and its ill-fated voyage in April 1912.

This award-winning touring exhibition features many artefacts from the ship, its passengers and crew. There’s also props from the film Titanic, including some of the dresses worn by Kate Winslet, and the dazzling “Heart of the Ocean” necklace.

An important part of the exhibition features the local Havering connection to the ship, with incredible stories of relatives who survived and those who perished.

To support the Titanic Honour and Glory Exhibition there are a series of talks and events. See the website for more information…or phone: 01708 766 571.
