    SUMMER FREE ADMISSION to the Museum - Friday 21th July to Friday 8th September

    Between Friday 21st July – Friday 8th September, normal admission fees do not apply for everyone during the summer holiday period.  Family activity sheets will be available in the galleries.

    FREE family events in the galleries are being hosted on: 28 July, 4 August & 24 August.

    Make An Egyptian Shapti - Friday 28th July, 11:00 to 12:30 & 13:30 to 15:30

    Get hands on with history by making your own Egyptian Shapti. A great family fun workshop for those looking for some messy fun.

    There are two separate workshops being hosted. The both contain the same content so feel free to either come along to the morning or afternoon session.

    £5.00 per child (Inc. Materials & light refreshments) ADVANCED BOOKING ESSENTIAL.

    ADMISSION £3.  Admission includes entry to the Museum and refreshments.  Sessions take place from 1.30pm to 3.30 pm.

    Bring your photographs and memories to share or just come to listen to others.

Friends of Havering Museum
FoHM was set up in 2000 to support and promote the aims of Havering Museum. They provide an exclusive and exciting programme of events which are designed for members.

The walks and talks are free to members unless stated otherwise. If places are available, non-members are welcome for a charge of £5.

Reminiscence Sessions

Our popular reminiscence sessions are sponsored by Mullis & Peake LLP and take place on Friday afternoons between 1:30pm and 3:30pm. Tickets are £5 each which includes entry to the Havering Museum and refreshments.

The Museum's photographic group meet on the first Thursday of every month from 1.30 pm - 3.30 pm - £7.00 per event.

If you run a club and would like a special talk then contact the Museum as we have a wide range of talks and speakers available. Museum promotional talks are free but all other talks are chargeable. Contact the museum at:
